Hey Shay!
I think you are so awesome and have inspired me to maybe start blogging my story. So how did you get yours to look so cute and fashionable. For example the heading font and colors and all the objects?? Thanks.

Hello Shaye,
I am a newbie to your blog and found you after seeing you on the batchlelor. I am a 49 year old happily married, Christian Mom of two delightful sons, ages 18 and 20,and your brother is the reason I watched this season's batchelor. He is the only one who has family values, kindness and integrity like my husband and I have tried to instill in our boys and he will make the woman he chooses very blessed! I like your sense of humor and look forward to more of your fun posts!

Love your blogs :))
Loved watching your family on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. You are so fortunate to have the sweetest parents ever. I think your dad has been one of the most "real" dads ever on the show. I did happen to think Chris Lambtons dad was "real" too...
I have also really enjoyed reading all of your yummy recipes. I think I may have gained a few pounds just from looking at them :))
Thanks for sharing and have a very
Blessed day!!

I had read your blog since Bachelor Sean started and I have appreciated your perspective! Thanks for sharing your trip pictures. It gave us more of a peak at everything! I wanted so badly to hear you say how much you LOVE Catherine and their engagement...I may have missed it so I'll go back and look. I wanted Chris Harrison to talk to Sean and Catherine about YOUR FAMILY and how your mom ended up handling their engagement. Sounds like you all support each other, always! and I love that.

After watching Sean on Emily's season Iwas so excited to follow his journey. I must say your family is simply beautiful the love between you I felt thru my tv screen was real NOT a script. This year was by far the best ever. Your parents are such loving and great people. I met my husband 25 years ago the old fashion way jr high sweetheart. With all the bad in the world its great to see other families with values and morals and true love for each other. May God continue to Bless each of you. said...

I love your blog shay.. I would even read it if seans wasn't your brother ;)
hee hee, on a Monday night a group of LDS girls would gather at a 65yr old ladies home and watch it! ahaah

Ok, I have a couple of questions.. firstly, I wrote about your green shirt from this weeks episode, so sad it was sold out, you need to send it to me ahhahahaha!!

2) I love pretty much all your clothes, do you have a monthly budget on what you spend on clothing?

3) what are some of your fav outfits

4) would you share what size you wear, and what your body shape is, and what you love and don't like.

5) what are some of your fav beauty items you can't live without.

6) do you work out? if so, when, how, and what you do.
* having 3 children in 4 years, took atoll on my poor body!!
thanks shay

Hey shay i was excited when my friend told me you had a blog. I was 9 1/2 months pregnant when seans episode aired where it was his hometown date with emily. We still couldnt think of a name for our baby girl and when he introdiced Kensinton we both looked right at each other. well we now have a Kensington Grace. We get compliments on her name all the time! we tell everyone where it came from!

Hi Shay,

I started reading your blog because of the Bachelor and frankly your great makeup tips and recipe ideas.

Through reading it more regularly, I have such an enormous amount of respect for you, the family youv'e created (and maintained), and your outlook on God and the future.

I've never posted anything online, but today I was moved to, because today's post (on tough times in a marriage) really resonated with me. I am engaged now, and we're preparing for our wedding with our Priest. You are such a rare combination of being a realist yet still positive, and your approach to everything is truly something we would all benefit from developing.

Thank you for writing and sharing your life with the public.

Hopefully, I'll even be in touch with you for honeymoon ideas soon!

Will you be posting a 52 Shades of fall shopping? Or Back to School shopping for moms? Or did I miss it?

I did Shopping with Sheaffer and Shay Back to School Shopping for both kids and moms! Click on Shopping with Sheaffer and Shay in the sidebar.

Thanks! I found the Shopping with Sheaffer side bar! I picked up some of those same Gap dresses for my daughter when we went shopping. I just ordered myself some zebra zig zag Toms and need some fun colored cords and a jacket for the fall, so your back to school for mom ideas will get me started!

Hi! I LOVE your blogs and all the recipes I have tried are great! I have been searching for Halloween undies for my kids. Where did you find them? Thanks!!!

Since you are a huge Sox fan, wanted you to know, the excitement has begin. Equipment is heading to Florida! Spring Training is coming. You need to make a trip to see them?

Shay you are great! I love reading your blog. I am interested in your adoption process with Ashby. Do you have any updates?

Shay, you have me very interested in using essential oils. Is Young Living the only brand you would use, if so, did you purchase them through Amazon? I also see that there is quite a price range of diffusers. I'm curious what you chose. My 2 year old niece is very prone to sickness, and I would love to purchase the Thieves as well as others for our family. Look forward to your blog every morning! Thank you!
